It's been a tough few days...BUT my dad is doing so-so...BUT much better then expected..I
can finally breathe....i've stayed at the hospital since sunday...surgery was suppose to be
at 7 this morning...didn't happen till 1:30...was suppose to be an hour surgery, ended up
being in operating room for 3 hours.. THAT was stressful..doctor came out to talk to us
saying he was happy..but dad wasn't coming out of anesthesia liked they hoped for..but still
thought all was ok...2 hours later..he started coming too..we got to see him about an hour later.
WHEW..what a sigh of relief..I'm just so happy right now..I want to hug everyone... BUT anyways..
thank you for the thoughts and prayers..WHEW..they do so much. After sleeping in those hospital
chairs..my back is so sore..I'm getting ready to take a hot bath..grab something to eat..and head
back to the hospital...dad will probably have to be there till friday for sure..BUT hoping he
gets to come home before the weekend..THIS will be such a special fathers day this year..I am
so so thankful and blessed to still have him with us... SIGH SIGH SIGH...I've already had my
emotional breakdowns...I've had the nervous "eats" eat everything in sight till i was sick..
the nights without sleep... SIGH It's all going to be ok now... "looking up to God and thanking him
once again".....AND I even apologized to the nurses that I growled at... BUT even thru my sobs
they knew...I was just protecting my dad...and although I know they have a job to do.. My Dad
is my dad...AND no one takes care of him like I do...Sigh..sigh..sigh.. I dont' drink..BUT I think
i'm going to look for a beer in this house tonight...LOL
