so I don't know the results of my Kidney and Bladder ultrasound yet, they wouldn't tell me if they found anything or not... but the lady doing the ultrasound was kind enough to tell me that I have a cyst on my ovary! The same dang ovary I had a cyst on at the end of March and had surgery for! It's small right now and they don't think it's a dermoid cyst, but she said I should have it checked out anyway because it could turn into one. The GYN Doctor is going to call me next week to discuss what to do. I wanted to find out if it's something that needs to be addressed now or if it could wait until after I get the problem with my Kidneys addressed. The scars from the surgery aren't even healed all the way yet!
Ugh! Does it ever end! Maybe this will be my trade off???? Maybe I will lose the ovary and go into early menopause, but the kidneys will be fine? I'm looking for any sign of something good right now.. even though I know they have confirmed the numbers are off on the kidneys.
And did I mention that my son got thrown out of his after school program yesterday! So when school starts up again in September, I have no afterschool care for him anymore! This happened yesterday! He only had to get through 1 day! 1 day! and couldn't do it. The poor little guy can't handle everything that's going on either. (for those who don't know, he's adhd -- and not the quiet resevered type... he would be the impulse control problem type).
I keep trying to tell myself, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...
On a good note... somehow the school managed to pass my son into the fourth grade... it took a lot of hard work on their part, but they helped him! He wasn't very cooperative the entire time, but they got him to do the work!
