I made a strawberry-banana smoothie & I must say it was the BEST I've made yet! LOL

I just dumped about 2 cups of fresh (picked & frozen last summer) strawberries into the blender w/1 cut up banana, 1/2 cup sugar, about 5-6 scoops New York/Vanilla ice cream, a few drops of Vanilla & about 3-4 cups 2% milk. Blended it up to be like a thick soup & OMG, was it awesome!! Got enough left over waiting in the fridge to have tomorrow. :)
Toot! Toot! LOL

Smile... it makes people wonder what you're up to!

1 container fat free yogurt, flavor of choice, but vanilla is a good one to go with any fruit
1 cup frozen fruit of choice--strawberries, blueberries, peaches all work really great for this
1 cup ice cubes
1/2 c 100% juice of choice--pick a juice that will compliment your fruit choices

Their favorite was strawberries with either apple juice or orange juice. I was partial to blueberries with grape juice.

Blend it up til smooth and creamy! MMMMMMMM

5|2|Joys smoothie recipe is a lot like the one I make only I use mostly water instead of juice. I sometimes add a glurg of milk.|sunriver|sunriver@gmail.com|23:25:51|06/08/2011|

Yum! I am really starting to like yogurt. I never did before.
I also make yogurt parfaits. A cup of yogurt, some cut up strawberries and I top it with some crunchy granola. Delicious!
