sorry, long story...
maybe I am jumping the gun, but kind of nervous about a $362.25 trade that I paid for on 4/30 and I still haven't gotten the merchandise.
It started out when I hadn't gotten anything by May 9 so I emailed to ask when/if they shipped. I got a reply that same day that she had come home and the boxes had been sent back by fed ex saying they had been refused and she had contacted them and she would let me know...never heard anything so on May 12 I emailed and asked what she found out and she replied they were sending someone out that day to pick the boxes back up later that night she said they had tried to charge her shipping again so she was going to the main hub to talk to someone. I email again on May 20th to see if they had been shipped and she said they told her someone had to be there to sign for the package so did I want to ship it to the same address??? I am always here to sign for them so no problem. I emailed again on the 24th to see if they shipped, she replied yes indeed with offer of more items for me to purchase. I sent the list back with what I could use. I emailed again on May 30th to see what day they shipped or a tracking #, no reply, I email again on the 31st, no reply and again on the 1st with no reply....I did hear from her on the 2nd stating she had just gotten out of the hospital and she would check to see what was going on with the boxes and wanted to know if I still wanted the other items. I said I did but I hoped she understood I didn't want to send any more money until I got the other boxes and I haven't heard from her since. I had emailed Garnette on the 1st and Garnette sent the complaint AFTER the trader had emailed me on the 2nd, by this time I had also posted asking her to contact me....I have traded with her 4 times previous totaling well over 1000.00 (2 was close to 500.00 each)I am hoping something (nothing serious) is preventing her from contacting me because I really looked forward to more trades....so any suggestions??? 1|1|why she can give you tracking number.|Lorey12|Lorey12@yahoo.com|22:33:55|06/04/2011|

if she give you fedex track number then you can check track on fedex website. if track number show last stop at city then she need to call fedex customer service 800. they will check where is the box or search at one of fedex office to see why box has not deliver yet.

if box is lost then she and fedex has talk on phone.

customer service will help her by return her call back. they want business with people to use fedex shipping.

i have been sending fedex for many years at business. they will find out where is box is lost or last stop.

she should provide you tracking number asap after she shipped out box to you.

i read again and yes fed ex will charge her if she ship again no matter what. even box return to her at no charge then she has to ship again for ship and fedex would charge her for reship again. this is business.

o Maybe she is sick or something happened that is preventing her from contacting you? I hope you hear from her soon. For big trades like that I would get a phone # so I could contact them, computers give out etc...all kinds of things can happen and make it hard to contact a person, phone # is the best backup.

never got one for the one in question(which should be 2 seperate numbers I would think) I sent "personal" paypal which prevents me from filing a claim. I like Lindas suggestion about the phone # (of course need to make sure it is a valid # for the person) I do hope something (nothing serious) is keeping her from contacting me. if she was upfront..why wouldn't she just give you the tracking number up front..and then when she said it was
refused and being shipped back...you could call Fedex yourself and find out whats going on? I can't see fedex
reshipping without being charged again...and even then, you would get another tracking number. You should have

I understand that "life" happens and people get ill and all of that, however, "I" could not afford to "lose" that much money and would rather get it back and resend it than to lose it altogether. Under the circumstances..... "she" should understand that as well. JMHO

Were these sent from the actual Fed Ex Center or a private mail and shipping center? She should beable to supply you the original tracking number or obtain it from that store.

Did she purchase or did you ask her to purchase additional insurance on these Fed Ex Boxes?

This whole scenario does not sound logical.

this was her email about them being refused.
I just cam home and your boxes were sitting on the porch with " Fed-Ex tags on them that said refused! Well, I looked at the printed slips and they had the wrong zip code on them. I have my copy that I gave them when I shipped them and it clearly has the correct address address on it. I called the 1-800 number to see what is going on and I have been on hold for 30 minutes now. It was their mistake so I hope they don't think that they are not going to fix it!

I will email you as soon as they let me know what to do.

I apologize for them.

first no fed ex numbers..where you could look up yourself??? and if she took the pkgs somewhere at a fedex to be shipped...they would come back to where she mailed them
from..not her house...when you go somewhere and ship fedex..the return label has that store where it's being shipped from. AND I have never called fedex and been on the line

I stopped sending personal paypal for anything I am buying and just pay the extra fee, I guess it ends up being the price of protection. Fed Ex, could/would give me information about a package that was supposedly mailed to me from her address? I am not for sure what the mail fraud laws are but I do know in Kentucky anything over $300.00 is considered a felony, but no idea if I can pursue it out of state.

i do not understand why she did not give you track number but i understand that she was in hospital. it happened to her.

i do not know how long it has not she have chance to answer or provide you track number if she know you email her.


since april to now. it is kind of tough because box has been sit in fedex branch too long. she have chance to find out on fedex link since she have track number. you have been email her few times and she finally answer you and she should have give you track number when she answer your email.

just took a matter of minutes for them to confirm no packages were shipped from her address to me, nor were any packages returned to her on the 9th as she stated. She is however scheduled to get a motorola package tomorrow, guess I bought her a new cell phone.
I hope I will be able to publicly apologize for being wrong and I will gladly do so if she emails me with a tracking # or a refund.

she said she had just gotten back out of the hospital last night and hadn't been online. She gave me 2 tracking #'s and they weren't found in the system, so she was going to go down to Fed Ex with the receipt and call me with what they tell her. She said she would never do me(or anybody wrong) so hopefully it will all get straightened out.
