we have a carpet cleaner too, it belonged to my mother in law but she gets a new one every year; so gave us her "old" one. The cleaning solution is usually expensive, so I will DEFINITELY try your mixture soon!

I use it sometimes in the winter to rinse my hair with as it not only softens my hair but gets rid of the "winter flakes". It can also be used in the bath water to soften dry or sunburned skin. I use 1 cup of it in my dog's bath rinse water as it softens her skin & hair as well but helps repel mosquitoes & gnats when she's outside.
My ENT uses it to soften earwax before removing as vinegar has anti-bacterial properties, & mixed w/a little bit of Isopropyl alcohol & putting a couple drops in the ear, it's an excellent mix to use after swimming or showering to prevent painful swimmer's ear. :)

I used Shout spray for stains and if it does not come out on first try,,repeat..worked really well...yipeeeeeeeeeee TY TY JOY! you save me bucks!

We used to camp in a tent with a sleeping bag, advanced to a truck end with blown up air mattress then to a pop up with a firm mattress..and NOW a motor home (old) with a mattress I put in there for comfort....yaaaaaaaaaaaa.. the floors here in the south have a cement ground so no giving for comfort..very hard on bones but just wanted to make a point that I saved alot of money and love recipes!
