Temps are supposed to reach 88° today w/a heat index anywhere from 90-100°, & humid. Good day to break out the makings for sun tea & the little inflatable toddler pool I have stashed in the garage, so I can at least cool off my butt. ROFL!
A little bit of a change from yesterday's rainy & cool 65° tho. It's breezy out there so hopefully that'll help some, but I can feel it in my teeth there's a storm brewing. :-p

to hopefully help ward off the heavier humidity of this afternoon (helps save on the a/c too which really only cools the air more than dehumidify it). I can deal w/the heat well enough but not the humidity. :( Despite the breeze, I haven't opened my windows but I haven't had to turn on the a/c yet either, & it's not bad at all in here right now. Inside temp shows 75° & humidity level is currently at 65%.
Once the sun gets around to the front, however, I'll have to be shutting the blinds some or it'll get pretty toasty in here.

I noticed there are not too many people hanging around outside too long today, except for one of my elderly neighbors who's like Tina's dh & likes this HOT stuff. But he has heart problems (has a pacemaker, defibrillator, the whole 9 yards) so I hope he's being careful. I try to keep an eye out for him when his wife is at work, just in case, cuz he sneaks & does outdoor type things he probably shouldn't be doing. :(
