Ok I have to admit I am a flip flop addict
here is what i prefer for outdoorsy stuff
columbia makes a walking flip flop its a little pricey maybe 30-40$'s and you can find them at sports authority, dicks, gander mtn stores like that they actually have them made to where the front come up a little higher to protect your toes from getting stubbed when you are walking/hiking they are no slip and hold tight to your feet
there are also these brands that i have and love
rafters and teva these are great for water but also great for walking there is a little less support in these compared to the ones i mentioned above and they are about the same price range but also hold tight to your feet.
good luck with finding what you are looking for there are soo many different ones to pick from but my recommendations
