I have read so many articles and so many blogs and comments and watched so many videos. Its hard to watch your child get hurt... very hard. I mean the worst that ever happened to this kid was a snowboarding accident when he dislocated a shoulder. There are no marks on his body and now he has a hole in his scalp. He told me last night that they want to do cat scans again because it's been a week and they are wondering if there is more than concussion going on. Of course, he doesn't give me a lot of details. I asked about vision, hearing, etc. Ugh... he's too sick and tired of talking about it so he doesn't answer me. So, you know, all of you moms... when you don't get information, what do you do? Ahh, yes, the imagination starts churning. So I've gone the gammit -- fluid on the brain, particles in the brain... etc. etc. etc.
Why couldn't I have frozen him between the ages of 8 and 12? Those were the glory days... I knew everything!!! Now of course, I still know nothing.
