For your info: I stopped using canola oil few years ago. I use organic extra virgin olive oil, grape-seed oil and coconut oil for cooking/salad dressings.

for use as cooking oil, especially. Canola oil is no longer made from rapeseed oil, and is deemed completely safe by the USDA, etc. 2|1|I found this article very helpful for the confusion on this product.....|Quietwaters|Quietwaters39@hotmail.com|08:08:31|05/17/2011|

If I understand right, canola seed was developed by cross breeding from the rapeseed.
Keep in mind that cabbage, turnips and some other vegatables we eat are also in the same family as the rapeseed.

My choice to eat or not eat certain products is very limited............ :((

This is one I will not eat.

Everyone has their own choice and trusts in companies. The cheaper the product the
more they will push to sell~

This is just like seeing how they raise beef, pork , etc. If you know a local farm
in your area, check out next time. When you get close roll down your window and see
if you smell rank in the air. If so, good indication to not eat that meat. There
are also other signs to look for as well... But not going into detail too long to
explain on here.

Thanks Sharon for this article. I do get their emails , plus others from other
sources.

~Judy in MI~ Does this mean if it is natural , we can eat???? NOT.......
