This is horrible i believe im back to the point i was at times before i had my first back surgery and im not liking it one bit!!! Ok done crying for now...LOL

1|1|Sorry to hear about your back issues. I KNOW what you are going through, as I live in constant pain 24/7 for the past ten plus years now with many, many back/neck/legs issues. But, I go to a Neurologist. I've had so many different epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks that do not work.|Newman|BenjiBubbles@gmail.com|14:46:16|05/14/2011|

4|3|The following site has lots of really good info on it, that perhaps you will find some answers for your back issues.|Newman|BenjiBubbles@gmail.com|08:37:29|05/15/2011|

Have you ever tried the Tens Unit? A "TENS unit" is a pocket size, portable, battery-operated device that sends electrical impulses to certain parts of the body to block pain signals.

The only thing that stops my constant pain, is the Narcotic Pain Killer, that I am supposed to take 3 times daily. But, I do not like taking it, as it puts me in another world and only stops the pain no more then 5 hours, then I am back to square one again. So, I have learned to live with the pain.

Please keep us updated on your results and I really hope you will find a Doctor that can help you.

5|4|I actually own a TENS unit and it helps to a certain point..........|rainj|jmrains@centurytel.net|08:55:16|05/15/2011|

Im with you on the pain killers i dont like taking them but at times especially last night i had no choice i literally wanted to die which is why i had my friend take me to ER. I have been through all of this before its been about 5 years now since my last surgery i have had two of them now and i really dont want to have another one but the pain just keeps getting worse every day. My last MRI showed that the two disks that i previously had disectomies on are now bulging and pressing on nerves which is what is causing me so much pain

Im glad you brought up the TENS unit that reminded me i needed to find a place to order me some new electrodes for my unit and also get a new battery for it. When i used it last time Work Comp supplied all that stuff for me. Im going to ask my doctor tommorow if he car write me a prescriptions for the electrodes but if he wont i found a website that i can order them from. But hopefully my doc will write me a prescription so my insurance will pay for them.

7|5|Yes, I agree with you on the Tens Unit, it does help to a certain degree. |Newman|BenjiBubbles@gmail.com|09:28:12|05/15/2011|

I have a disc that went the opposite way when it blew out. Most of the time the disc will blow out away from the spinal cord, I am one of the cases, where the disc went into my spinal cord and pinching it that is causing so much pain and causing other major issues. Two Neurosurgeons will not operate on me, as it will be way too risky, as I may end up in a wheelchair. I have tried everything else that was recommended to me, with NO Results. I am very limited on what I can do anymore. Sorry to say, LIFE SUCKS for me. 9|6|So Sorry Newman :(|rainj|jmrains@centurytel.net|09:37:13|05/15/2011|
