I just got a envelope in the mail from the post office that was stamped found loose in mail, inside was the end of a envelope I mailed out to someone that has just my address label and a damaged in handling stamped on it. I have no way of knowing if this was a trade I sent out or not but I'am assuming it is. The envelope addressed to me has the zip code 43701 wrote on it. If it is a trade that got damaged then what happens with the trade? I mean it's not my fault it got damaged and it's not the other persons fault but how does the trade get handled from here? Any suggestions? 1|1|Zipcode is Zanesville, OH if that helps...as far as the trade, you could ask the sender to resend, but honestly they wouldnt be obligated to, as you know they sent their end...you could split the difference with him/her, asking for half your money back. |saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|12:11:18|05/14/2011|

" You'll get what's coming to you ... Unless it was mailed."

4|2|Sorry, read your OP wrong.....I thought the damaged envie you got was the other person's.....let's just say if it was me, I'd resend or refund the other person...not my fault it happened, but if the situation was reversed, I'd appreciate that the other person resent.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|13:23:21|05/14/2011|

2|1|You have to re-send the trade or refund the buyer's money.|Arizona|vbj48@cox.net|12:39:41|05/14/2011|

You are responsible to make sure the buyer gets what he/she paid for.

Be sure you tape your envelopes REALLY good. Better to tape too much than have to replace a trade. 3|1|Example: If I ordered something from Penney's and it was damaged.....|Arizona|vbj48@cox.net|12:41:55|05/14/2011|

I would expect Penney's to replace or refund, wouldn't you? 5|2|I did tape the envie|crenchen|crenchen@aol.com|13:25:42|05/14/2011|

I always tape when sending coupons. Ok, thanks for the input and I think I might know who it belongs to but will wait to see if I hear from them about it. 6|3|If the envelope was too thick, then the Mail Processing Machine got it when it went through it. Therefore all the contents were lost, in your case, something was left of the envelope. Extra tape around all the edges would do NO Good, as it would still slice the envelope. I know it happened to me.|Newman|BenjiBubbles@gmail.com|14:18:44|05/14/2011|
