have a couple of freezing questions. i LOVE bacon but it's so pricey. i've found a bulk price, though. if i fry some up and chip it up (like bacon bits) can i freeze it and have it thaw and retain enough of it's crunch to still be able to sprinkle it on salads? thanks ~ sandy 1|1|Probably not....but you could cook it most of the way, then after defrosting, spread it out on a baking sheet and finish cooking in the oven at a high temp, like aournd 450 for a few mins to crisp it up :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|16:09:29|05/10/2011|

forgot to ask ... can you freeze mushrooms (baby bellas)? thanks, again. 3|2|Um, I guess you could, but again, they'd only be good for cooking...and not sure how they would hold up.....you could try a small batch and see.|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|16:13:19|05/10/2011|
