I've never seen a blue one out here before (only seen pics of them in bird mags, etc.) so I snapped some pics of it. It sure is a pretty blue! :)

them here at my feeder in summer as well. Beautiful, arent' they?! Also we have already seen rose breasted grossbeaks at the feeder as well as have hummers at my feeder too. I am in Northern IN so good to see all the birds returning. :) Ohh..had Jenny Wrens singing outside the other day too and heard catbirds as well! 2|1|This is what it looked like (link inside to pic)|maraj|maraj64@hotmail.com|19:27:09|05/07/2011|

I have yellow Finches out here pretty regularly but this is the 1st time I've had a blue one so I was very surprised & happy to see it. Yes, a very beautiful bird!
I've had some of the red-breasted grossbeaks too, & snapped a couple pics of that before as I didn't know at 1st what kind of bird it was. Another very pretty bird. Especially the shiney, jet black it had.
I will be putting out my Hummingbird feeders w/in the next week, now that the temps are finally warming up some.
My favorite times of the day are early morning & early evening when the birds are out here singing & chirping! :) My hearing is about shot so I relish listening to them while I still have some hearing left in my ears. LOL

a few purple finches too. and chickadees. No Cardinals.

We had an indigo bunting last year...have not seen him yet this year. Mike called him my 'indigo butthead'. He is not so much a bird lover! lol!

Melinda 9|3|I'll trade you some cardinals (how about a pair, male and female) for some of those buntings or gold finches :) DH saw one gold finch yesterday, but we dont see them often :( I do however have a ton of juncos, they are soooo stinking cute! :)|saint6811|waylan@comcast.net|10:44:02|05/10/2011|

he was very confused! lol! was trying to get 'liquid' from the round seed feeder. I promptly put out another feeder (Liquid)for oriole along with the one for hummers already up. Getting more hummers by the day here. Jenny Wrens singing..various song sparrows singing..robins of course..Rose breasted grossbeaks.. yellow, house and purple finches here by the tons..always cardinals and blue jays and our beloved regular bluebirds which were here VERY early this year and nest everyyear somewhere around our house here. Also seen several barnswallows flying around and in and out of the barns so hope they stay and nest..help keep the mosquitoes down along with the bats in the summer. :) 13|5|I will let you know if I see him, Vickie! ;-) lol!|mindylou86|mindylou86@gmail.com|11:54:21|05/10/2011|
