ONe of the guys who has been there a while called to ask me if i knew any family of one of our older cashiers who passed out and was taken out on a stretcher...they actually were going to life flight her as she was out so long and not responding. Thankfully I did actually know who they should call, and thankfully the bookkeeper on knew who i meant(he used to shop at our old store, so we both knew him before we knew her). I called my gf who worked with us, and has gone to lunch with Becky and i and sent her up to the hospital to find out what she can...told her to tell em she was her niece. She facebooked the nephew a message as he was not home when work called.
As of now, the cashier is still having tests...she claims she thinks all this stems from her lactose intolerance, and the fact that she has had yogurt(1 a day) for 4 days caused her to have severe stomach pains, toss her cookies and pass out....me thinks she is wrong, as i to am mildly lactose intolerant, and know while it can be painful, ya do not pass out from it. She claims she is coming home tonight....my gf says she does not think so...am waiting to hear back..I called her out of work tomorrow at her agreement...she is due in at 845 am, and is sitting in an er at 1030 pm at age 75 or so...do not think work is a priority..We told her that way they could replace her shift on such a busy day easier.
Not sure why they called me, but everyone is glad they did, as we managed to cover all the bases...now, if the nephew only gets the message, and gets to the hospital. I am hoping they are in the state, and not visiting the grand child in va....she says they are home somewhere...did i mention she forgot her cell phone at home, and of course, that is where there cell numbers are?

3 text messagses from my gf i sent up to the hospital.....she did go and get Becky's cell, and call her nephews wife...they came right to the hospital. Seems that they did release her to their care...her renal numbers are out of whack..Becky seems to have been dieting with a yog and a rice cake(she is a short awesome lil ole italian lady-aren;'t they supposed to be squeezably soft?). I do know she has been stressing over her niece who is younger than me, down south and slowly dying from cancer...she is constantly fretting over her...So she has not been eating right..but to try to diet has not help keep her flushed out evidently and is hurting the kidney function at first glance.....
