Sparkpeople is really helping me with keeping track of calories and fat eaten and motivating me to keep working out daily. Last time I got really serious about my weight I lost about 20 lbs and then got sick and gave up. This time I have a goal to lose 60 lbs. I have to do something because I have really gotten unhealthy in the last year or so. So the work begins...

Well it was a bad week...gained 2 lbs....bleah...am frustrated right now, we all have our good and bad days. Like Daisy said, maintaining weight/losing weight is very hard! I'm also tracking calories and doing biggest loser cardio max most days although we were away from home this weekend so I am three days behind on that. About the only other exercise I can work in is housework and gardening (just got a bunch of my veggie plants in last week, so all of that bending and stooping doesn't hurt.)
I still have a lot to lose (51 lbs). It helps to see some results right off the bat or I would probably be struggling a lot more with sticking with it. I gained 1 the week before but was surprise that I lost so much last week! I have quit binge snacking at night so I know this has made a BIG difference!!!
I have to be honest here.. I am not dieting ALONE. I've been taking Fastin during all the weeks this round except for one week when I had to have surgery on my hand. I can not lose weight like this on my own. I've tried for 30 years and Fastin works for me but it's expensive and you have to be careful to stay healthy because it can be rapid weight loss.

I was down 9 lbs and feeling really good and then I allowed myself sugar again and stopped counting calories.
Then I quit working out!
And I gained 8 lbs back just like that! Doh! The only really good thing I was able to stick with was giving up meat.
So tomorrow I get back on track and get working out again and writing down everything I eat. No more sweets! I am seriously like an addict! I don't drink or smoke, but I could do myself in with junk food. I have to get it in control before I wind up with heart problems!

Total overall weight loss: 7 pounds
Well darn.. I mean I did ALOT of walking and drinking water but I ate at buffets all the time we were in Reno and drank diet cherry cokes like crazy... cherries and all... but... for Week #6 my total overall weight loss was 7 pounds so at least thats something..:) I'm ready for this next round!

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was able to move my bra strap clasps in 1 notch, well, I'm happy to report that my bra extender is GONE! yee haw! The inches are slowly melting off! Since my weight loss journey began I've lost 20lbs................ only 35 more to go! Congrats to all! Big Hugs!
