I live in North Alabama where multiple tonadoes touched down yesterday. We were blessed and received no damage. Many of our friends have lost everything, and many more we are unable to communicate with. My husband's aunt is still missing. Most roads are impassable and phone and power lines are down. Communication is almost impossible. Almost our entire homeschool family lives in the city of Madison in the area that was totally destroyed. We have been unable to hear from any of them Please keep them in your prayers.
Generators have been donated so gas can be pumped for emergency vehicles and the pharmacies can fill prescriptions. Again, we have been blessed. We are the only place in this part of the state that has power today. Less than three miles in any direction from our house and there is no power. A couple of stores have opened using flashlights and calculators so people can buy batteries, lamp oil, etc. It is a bad situation. Please, again. keep all of the tornado victims in your prayers.

my friend called this evening, they lost everything, even their cars. They are staying with neighbors that made it, many of her neighbors lost everything too. She was in good spirits, and is thanking God for keeping her family safe.

The news has been showing the aftermath of all those tornadoes & I must say it looks bad. Many people killed & so much devastation. :( Just heartbreaking. :(

Aunt Sally was on her way for a dialysis treatment when her car ran out of gas. She was stranded for hours. She is on oxygen and unable to walk for help. The cell phone towers in our area are down so she was unable to call anyone. Fortunately someone found her and brought her enough gas to get her to a station. After waiting in the parking lot for several hours, she was allowed to buy a limited amount of gas. She is doing fine.
My sister's brother-in-law has lost everything. There isn't even a foundation left to show that a house ever existed. Several of my husband's co-workers have lost their homes, too. We still haven't heard from our homeschool family.
A dusk to dawn curfew has been enforced for most of the counties in our area. Travel on the side roads is nearly impossible and power isn't expected to be back for a few more days. The death toll in our area is around 200 and climbing. Continued prayers are needed for these people.

Lots of downed trees and roof and siding damage. We were lucky, though, just had some roof shingles on our garage come loose.

The violent storms ravaged the state, killing 13 people and wiping out a nearby town of Vilonia. However, I am fortunate that no damage took place here, and everyone is safe here. My sympathies go out to the families and friends who lost loved ones during this outbreak of violent weather.
