Made out my menu/ list yesterday. bought items on sale and had my coupons in tow. Robert & I just hit the store are menu for Easter is: We picked up 2 smoked hams, got them on sale for .79 cents a pound..Put this all on my cc lol..
Before meal:Appetizer-Hawiian bread bowl with spinach dip in the center
Salad(tossed with Italin dressing) with fresh mushrooms, tomatoe's, cucumbers
Dinner:Baked smoked ham
Stove top stuffing italian & herb,Sweet potatoes
White mashed potatoes(mix in vegeta, buttter,milk) served with brown gravy on the side.
Dessert: My famous Torta cake for dessert, consists of crushed pinapple, walnuts in the cake and topped with cream cheese frosting yum!**My secret recipe.

My mom's knee has been giving her grief so I don't know yet if she'll prefer coming to my house or going out for Easter brunch. I just know I don't want her fussing w/the dinner.
I have a ham in the freezer, eggs in the fridge for deviled eggs, & all the other fixins so I can easily whip something up if I need to. But I might cheat & buy a Bavarian Cream cake & ice cream for dessert. :)

I called a couple places for their Easter specials - 1 is having ham or beef tips & the other is having ham or turkey along w/an Easter buffet. I like the sound of beef tips but their prices were a little stiff, so we've opted to go to the other place. Much more reasonable & I love their all-you-can-eat buffets. :) I'm starting to drool thinking about it. LOL

chicken ala king with biscuits, cherry crepes, carved ham & beef, pasta du jour, and much more, fresh fruit, homemade baked goods, muffins, pastries and so much more Plus a deluxe dessert & pastry bar.
Guess by now you figured, we are all eating out at an excellent restaurant. Time 1:00. Then onto Son's house for awhile.
I'm going to bring some shrimp and cocktail sauce, and a plate of meat, cheese & crackers to munch on. Son and daughter-in-law and grandsons hubby and myself and daugher in law's parents and daughter in law's nephew are all going.
Just hope the weather is going to be good to us. It's still rather cold in the 40's. Ughhhhh.

1 cup sugar
1 cup chunk pineapple drained
1/2 cup butter
3 eggs
mix all together
pour into casserole dish (well greased)
Bake until golden brown on top
usually about 45 mins on 350 degree oven

Sorry i forgot to list the bread crumbs, I use fresh bread and cube it up, usually about 4 slices of bread but I dont always put bread in mine either, good luck with making this and hope you enjoy it as much as my family does
