Been out of power since about 8 last night. House just about 1/2 mi. from us lost it's entire roof, it blew a barn right in half, trees & power lines down everywhere & it's cold here. Have generator going to run tv, computer & water, kerosene heater to take chill off. Will be shutting this down soon but just wanted to check in. They say we may be out of power for some time seems several lines that run through fields are down & we got a lot of rain last night so sure they are having major problems getting to them.

We had serveral bad storms this past summer, I refused to stock the freezer, as we had 3 storms roll through during the summer and 2 times we were out power for 2 days straight, no generator to run anything and it was hard..Hot as heck in the house and took freezing cold showers no fun. Packed our food in coolers,ended up eating out too spending money.
