I know many people love scentsy but I would like the most bang for my buck. I see that there are a lot of wax melts on etsy. Are the ones on etsy one use bars? I know with scentsy you can use each one a few times before the scent really fades. Even if they are truly one use melts they are much cheaper. Even walmart is carrying a line now although i would love to support small crafters on etsy. Anyone have a person on etsy or here that they recommend? Any input would be so helpful :)

good point about just buying a few to try out. The better home and gardens (from walmart) warmers are only $15 and I like the looks of them versus $25 at scentsy. Plus it would be supporting small time crafters/businesses. I remember people talking about buying tarts and maybe those are the same thing? Or maybe those were burned with a small candle. I found a great deal for them on etsy. Just a basic block look but very affordable. I don't need the fancy shapes because they are just going to melt LOL. I would love to hear back from anyone else who might have any feedback. I will report back once I decide and buy them.

I can try to help :)

I have used Scentsy and love it but yes, it is very pricey. VERY! I have found the knock off at Walmart to be very comparable and a lot less money. Scentsy is so expensive b/c the seller, the seller's manager, and the hostess all take a cut from each sale. I am a huge fan of etsy and love supporting handmade artisans and small businesses. Most sellers are very kind and will answer any questions you have, so if I were you I would just email them and ask about how long the fragrance lasts. They might even throw some samples in if you let them know you might be interested in purchasing more! Remember, if worst case scenerio you buy an etsy one and it does not meet your expectations, you are not out nearly the money that you would be if you purchased from Scentsy. Give it a shot and please report back, I would love to know how they work for you. I had no idea people on etsy were making and selling them so I learned something new! Good luck! 5|2|Have no idea, I've always made my own tarts...never bought them.|HONEY11|HONEY1@AMERITECH.NET|15:20:48|04/17/2011|

I know scentsy is pricey but really worth the money, its a nice treat for yourself is how I look at it and the lady that i deal with when buying my scentsy is so nice and always gives extras so I dont mind spending the extra money. 9|1|have a very good friend who sells Scentsy|flyvanguard|flyvanguard@yahoo.com|13:39:04|04/25/2011|
