We went for 2 wks vacation out west (my parents always saved all their sick days/vacation days and we traveled for those 2/3 wks in the summer every year when I was growing up)..visited parent's friends in Denver..then stayed at their place up in the mountains in tent for a couple nights (they were then building their vacation home but wasn't finished yet)..went thru Yellowstone (and also seen Mt Rushmore as well and did helicoptor ride over that area as well on way out there)..then stayed w/ parents friends in Cody WY for a week and seen the parade and did the rodeos etc. Never forgot the sandstorm I was caught in..that was quite the experience! Came out/down off Rattlesnack mtn out of nowhere..QUICKLY!...got caught in the street on the other side of the drainage canal when it hit. Good thing I had common sense even way back then or could have turned out badly. Anyhoo..still remember this all clearly and was a great experience even way back then. :)
