Had a tornado warning issued for here a couple hrs. ago but fortunately, it passed over or broke apart cuz we just got some wind & a bit of rain. But I had a full house for a little while w/my mom, one of my sisters & her dh & their 2 dogs here cuz they don't have basements & the tornado warning was for our town. We could see the wall cloud pass over & begin to dissipate on the north side of town. Now the sun is shining again, a breeze & there's less humidity! And that rainbow sure looked awesome when it came out. :)
However, we're under a tornado watch til 11 tonight. I hope that also doesn't amount to anything.....

Heard there were some power lines down out on the ridge between here & another town 9 mi. away, but other than that, I think the worsed passed our town & county by. And thank God too, the Tornado Watch we were supposed to be under til 11 tonight has now been cancelled. :)
I thought earlier this afternoon about turning on the a/c a couple times to alleviate some of the humidity but was too stubborn to do it this early in the season. LOL It's alot better tho since the storm went by - temps dropped down into the upper 60's & much less humidity. Will be good sleeping tonight. Especially w/no impending storm threats anymore. :)
