question for you. She said she saw some either lavender or light purple bushes and they were really beautiful, (we also saw them on our way through the south onto Florida) and was wondering if you or anyone else might know what the bushes are. They were awesome to see. Had never seen anything like them. So if you or anyone else might know what they are. Please let me know. Thank you.

7|1|Teresa looked at the pic's you sent. No they don't look anything like what I had seen, I know what Azalea's and lilac's look like and they didn't look |flapper|joyphalen@yahoo.com|09:55:31|04/09/2011|

like either of them. Wisteria, not sure what that looks like. I think we did see some in NC as well throughout the rest of the trip to Fl. These were all bushes, no vines, no trees, just all bushes. The flowers looked sort of small, (as we were looking at them from the road and they were set back aways. The bushes were quite tall and bushed out. All the ones we had seen were all like a light purple, my sister thought lavender. Wish I had taken my camera out and taken some pictures of them. I'll have to ask her is at all possible is she could take a pic and send to my camera. But if that's the case then I won't know how to put it on the computer. Just thought I'll take it to a nursery and see what they say. First I have to get her to take the pic. Not sure if she'll stop. Maybe this will help somewhat as to anyone guessing what they are. Just curious as they were really beautiful.

I'm referring to, not sure. Still going to see if she can get a picture of at least 1 bush on her trip back, but that won't be until sometime next month. I'm thinking of check with the chamber of commerce in 2 states to see if I can get an answer. But I'll have to wait as this entire week, will be very hectic for me. But when I find out will let all of you know. I'm sure I have you as curious as I am. Will keep ya's informed.

I have 2 of these on the side of our house and when they bloom they are HUGE, they do look like a bush, they are really pretty. Both of those (get this) are OVER 45 years old.

I have another one in the back by the garage that is over 25 yrs olds. These last forever. In fact I cut this one by the garage and gave HALF of it to my best friend. Well she put them in her yard and they come up WHITE but mine are BLUE. I found out that it depends on the type of pH-SOIL that they are planted in.
The really surprised us, she was wanting the blue but the white was beautiful also.

different way. But she said she will take one and send to my phone if she does see the bushes. I then will take to a nursery and show them and get an answer for sure. So here's hoping she does see them on the way back. If not, we'll never know as hubby doesn't plan on driving to Fl., next year, said we would fly. But will be to sure to post if and when I find anything out. Last resort is chamber of commerce. Not sure if they will be able to help out.
