the news showed pics of down powerlines and trees
and ppl trying to get to their homes
can't really tell alot of damage until daylight
and they say more severe weather along that area tonite again
they said there was inch size hail also

It warmed up to 75° here today & sure enough, we're under a Severe T-storm Watch for tonight & tomorrow, w/predictions that some could be severe w/hail, strong winds & possibly tornadoes. :( Why does it have to be at night?!
There are also Flood Watches & Warnings out as the ground is still pretty saturated from the spring thaw, & most waterways are already high from that. I'm up on the ridge so will have to deal w/the wind but not flooding. I feel bad for those in the valleys & other low-lying areas as I imagine there won't be much peace for those residents tonight worrying about flooding. Most of them are still traumatized & recovering from 3 yrs. ago when we got SO much rain in just a few days that summer which caused alot of major flooding. And the following year it happened again only worse! :(

from the pics on the news it is bad but i guess could have been worse
one lady said they were gone and made it home and the house was flat and they had found 2 out of 3 dogs
they were lookin for anything left to take with them
made me want to cry with her
one mans house was 2 stories one story blew away
the BP that we had stopped at lost its canopy over the gas pumps
not sure about the building
they said the main street is closed off and lots of damage
was told there was a tornado touch down in central grayson county today
we had an awful storm
we are on the outskirts of grayson county but i have no idea where they were talking about cuz they didn't say specific locations
