She's doing well...she's at a rehab facility now, I went to see her today....she's mulling over whether or not she will continue to live in her home, as my sister and I both live 2 or more hours from her. We were trying to present some positives of her moving to an assisted living apartment, and she was more receptive than I thought she would be. Physically, she's doing terrific...she needs a walker right now, but her balance and strength are improving with therapy. She still have some fine motor issues with her left hand, but that too is improving :)

including exercise every morning, music ect. part of the nice things is she made some friends and if you want to be alone then just
shut your door. some one else does the cleaning and the cooking.

But I totally understand what you mean. My oldest sister is 14 yrs. older than me & we've certainly traveled that road so I'll include a prayer that your sister soon realizes that you're a big girl now too, as mine finally seems to have realized recently (not holding my breath on mine tho just in case. LOL). I mean, I'm *only* pushing 50. ROFL!!

My grandfather had numerous TIAs the last 15 years of his life. Could usually tell when he'd had even the mildest of one because he'd become very confused.
I am quite sure I told the story here of how he disappeared in the middle of the night one time and they found him several miles up the road. My grandmother scolded him and he said, "Don't worry Ethel, I just followed the double line up the middle of the road". {insert wide eyes expression here...lol}.
