can't wait to see how he does. I usually do the deals, but they are ending tonight and I'm just not up to walking around the store yet. Very sore still and the surgery wounds are still healing.
He's supposed to come back with:
8 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks ( B1G1F and have $4/4 coupons)
3 Bottles 2 liter bottles of coke (have B1G1F coupon and they are on sale B2G1F )
up to 8 smart balance spread (on sale B1G1F have $1/2 coupons)
up to 10 hungry man meals (on sale B1G1F have $1/2 coupons)
2 Bags of Doritos (no coupons because they expired last night! dang it! -- and hubby really wanted these!)
My store allows coupons to be used on the free item as well.
Not the healthiest foods, but it's what's on sale this week and I'm stocked up on everything else already. He has like 12 or 13 coupons with him and I told him only to get what he thought was a good deal... This should be pretty cheap for all this stuff. But I sent him with a $3 off on a $50 purchase coupon -- just in case he finds something else he just needs.
If this works... I might have to send him more

if I need him to, he has been helpingg me for years doing them. He also looks for wine tags, coupons, and rebate forms also during his shopping trips. It is wonderful of the men to help us out!

And I figure with the stockpile I have right now, I can wait for the next deal, so why spend the money. But he would be REALLY mad if I handed him hundreds of coupons! He did call once to ask me why he was only getting 3 of something and not 4. I threw him with a buy 2 get 1 free item instead of buy 1 get 1 frees, and he didn't want to get it wrong

okay, it's funny that someone started a post like this. i have a flu bug (or SOMETHING that makes me feel like death would be an improvement!). our weekly sales ended last night so sent dh to walmart with price match flyers and coupons ... well he passed but only if you grade on a curve.
the funniest thing was walmart's hotdogs were $1.98 and the price match was for .79 - the receipt showed .99 (on all 6 packages he bought tho - so really a $1.20 difference). i questioned him about it and he said he noticed but that price was "close" so he let it go. oh well, i still appreciated him putting in a long day at work and then still going out to the store for me because i was sick
