The sun is shining & it's supposed to be 50° here today, & the snow is all melted by my clothesline, so I'm anxious to hang my laundry out to dry for the 1st time since Oct. :)

In the afternoons, the sun shines on the front of my house so my dog & I have been sitting out on the deck relishing in it the last couple of days. LOL No bathing suit for either of us but feels like 80°+ having the sun directly on us like that, & it does get to be 80°+ in the house so I have an oscillating fan going in the hallway to draw some of the heat into the back rooms. You'd melt sitting in any of my front rooms in the afternoon, but I love it! LOL
ETA: When everyone gathered here to put the gift baskets together for my bil's cancer benefit, the temp outside was maybe 20° that day but everyone in here was cookin, & my niece even opened the window on the screen door she was so warm. I was laughing cuz I'd warned them it was going to be warm & w/11 people in here, it made it that much warmer. LOL My bil's mom was here that day too & she said she loved how much sun I get here. :)
I used to have 2 huge pine trees in the front, which blocked alot of the sun, but I had them cut down last spring & I noticed it made quite a difference in my heat bill this winter. I have blinds to help reduce the heat in the summer months.

5|5|Since we live in a apartment building, when it is extremely cold out I love to hang out my sheets, there is no better fabric softner to compare to the fresh crisp air. Also I love to hang out the laundry on hot summer days again the smell is amazing. My mom never ever used a dryer.
