10 0|0|What is the best over the counter or home remedy for eczema? DS's eczema just flared up for the first time in over 16 years and I am out of the loop. He used to be RX's med's when he was little and couldn't use almost any body/wash/laundry products, but he out grew it. Now, he is itching like crazy and can't get into the doc's until Monday.|Ranalt|ainebailey@gmail.com|14:48:21|03/25/2011|
Any suggestions welcome:)

I just got a letter from her yesterday and she gave me this tip for Gracie's eczema. She says you can buy it at "the drug store", so I would guess any larger store would carry it.
3 parts glycerin
2 parts witch hazel
1 part lanolin
You just mix it up. She also said putting straight lanolin on would work wonders but it is sticky stuff.
I haven't ventured out to get the ingredients yet, but I plan on trying it. Her doc said hydrortisone (sic?) cream is what she recommends, but miss g also has to see a dermatologist soon to find out whether her skin is absorbing fats from her diet. Her skin is severely dry and we've tried all sorts of over the counter lotions and creams. (and have been using the hydro for a couple weeks with no relief.

6|1|Several people I know rely on Bag Blam.|bluh2oeyes|bluh2oeyes@yahoo.com|17:29:51|03/25/2011|
Several friends...who are farmers and one is alergic to tons of things swear by Bag Blam for many things including eczma.
I think you can get this now at any WM, Target or drug store. Look for the green tin in the aisle with the lotions or in the aisle with the first aid stuff.
