Well... I home from the hospital and I hurt like mad, so I might not be online much for a couple days. Things went better than planned. Not sure what happened, but the doctor told me they would not be able to save my last ovary. The Dermoid Cysts grow inside the ovary. Well apparently when they got in there, mine had grown OUTSIDE of the ovary! Go figure! So we were worried about them removing my only ovary and having to have Hormone Therapy and going into Menopause early... and now I don't have to worry about it at all. She said she was able to save the ovary and the tube. Which means if I decide to have more kids one day, I still can!
This is amazing news! And they didn't have to make the large incision so I can be back to work in 7-10 days. I think because the cyst ruptured in surgery they could pull it through a smaller incision, surgery was supposed to be 45 minutes and it was over 3 hours! But what a outcome! My waist also looks alot smaller than it did.... can't wait until I can try on my pants for work and see how big they are now
