I am SO burnt out... I spend hours clipping and filing coupons, pouring over trader's lists, pouring over the sale sheets, locating the coupons, printing coupons on-line, pouring over all the on-line newsletters for the deals etc... then like today, I go to Walmart and find that the darned prices are SO high, even with a coupon, it's rediculous! I went thru the whole store and only was able to use maybe 10 coupons.. Got to the check out and can you believe this? The checker told me I couldn't use the coupons that said, "DO NOT DOUBLE".. "HUH?????" "I'm not trying to double!" I told her... THEN she told me that I could only use ONE coupon because it said, "limit 1 coupon per purchase". I told her that i've been thru this same thing SO many times there.. I have 4 bottles and have 4 coupons, each bottle is considered a purchase.. She started to argue with me and I had my husband with me and..... I just told her SEE? THIS IS WHY I'M DONE WITH COUPONS.. Let me talk to your manager... I told her several times.. Let me talk to your manager. Rather then to do that, she just took off the coupons...
I've decided that I will not clip another coupon for a whole year maybe... take a break.. i mean, many of the stores I go to anyway, are cheaper even without a coupon although these stores don't take coupons... Canned Food Warehouse, .99 cent only, Dollar Tree and Costco.
Winco is better about using coupons but they won't take internet coupons and their brands are very limited plus their store is about 25 miles away..

Call corporate and turn her in. Take the policy and show it to whoever you have to. Just because they aren't smart enough to know the difference between stacking and single items counting as single purchases doesn't mean it should cost you. This "job" is not easy and takes time and planning. Time is money. limit 1 coupon per customer/visit/household/transaction for the cashiers that think you can only use one coupon when it says per purchase. I seldom shop Walmart for the fact that they are not coupon friendly. I did go a few days ago (with coupon policy in hand) purchased 30 of the millstone prepack coffee, 1.54 and 15 hefty plates. The cashier 1st said I couldnt use the millstone coffee coupons because it said 1/2 pound or more...I showed her it said $2.00 off MILLSTONE COFFEE PREPACK BAG, 1/2lb+ BULK, OR K-CUP PORTION PACKS. The comma clearly shows it was good on prepack bag..anyways she scanned them, and I got the overage...the customer service manager had to turn the key but he didnt even blink an eye...I still can't believe I had a pleasant coupon shopping trip at Walmart!!! I do look for them to change that soon, to good to be true.
