It's been raining good all day w/sleet mixed in & now it's pouring out there w/thunder & lightning. But the worst of it is the Flood Watches & Warnings that are out for the next several days as the warm temps from the last few days have melted pretty much all the snow, which I'm glad, but the melting has been too fast & w/this rain, it's predicted that flood levels could very well reach or exceed the record flood levels of 2001 or worse, 1965. :(
Northern areas of me are under a Winter Storm Warning & are predicted to get quite a bit of snow. It all flows down-stream eventually....
Please pray that the dikes, dams & all the sandbagging being done will keep the flooding to a minimum.

W/all the rain & sleet/freezing rain, it made for some heavy weight on trees, etc. & w/the wind, it compounded to take down a few trees & alot of branches in the neighborhood.
My one neighbor next to me has a pretty big mess w/a fallen tree in their front yard & it appears that a few other neighbors have similar to deal with.
Several schools are either delayed or cancelled this morning cuz there's a nice layer of ice out there. :(

I imagine the ice coating on everything is a big contributing factor but it's not overly windy, just a breeze actually.
But the power has been blipping off & back on several times since before noon & was off for about a half hour an hour & a 1/2 ago. Hoping it stays back on for good now. Sheesh!
