When I first married my husband eveyone in his family went nuts for his granmothers Macaroni and Cheese recipe. I asked her for the recipe, and she gave it to me. A few years later, Ihappen to buy muellers elbows. THere recipe was the same has my husbands Grandmothers, word for word. So it is possible someone, handed it down to her. And she thought it was original.
PS. My husbands Grandmothers secret, is safe with me until this day.
