I just found out today that a cousin of mine is in ICU and may not live much longer. They have contacted family members and told them if they want to see her, they better come now. I am not close to her because I have only seen her a few times in my life but this still makes me very sad. She has a nine year old daughter and was caring for her brother's children because he is in jail. Here's the story~She went to her local hospital with stomach pains. They told her it was gas and sent her home. A family friend who is a Dr. told her later that her appendix had burst and she better get to a different hospital ASAP. She got there and has been in ICU for 3 weeks now. She has gain green (sp?) from her waist down and they have her hands strapped down so she can't move, not sure why. Her kidneys have failed and her lungs are very bad. They are allowing her nine year old to go see her tonight and have brought in a minister to say a saving prayer for her. They say she is coherent but they are keeping her in a drug induced coma like state.
Thanks, ladies for your prayers. Maybe GOD will send her a miracle.
