My bil's cancer benefit was yesterday & altho it was supposed to be from 2-7, it didn't come to a close til about 9:30, when the last item of the live auction was bid on/won. There were just SO many awesome things! My mom & I didn't get home til after 11 last night & only then cuz my mom was pretty tired. I believe we're all wiped out today, wiped out but very happy as it appeared to be a really HOT success! :)
There were tons of people there & I think each & every one of them truly enjoyed themselves.
One of the live auction items was a Burro Plant (also called Burro's Tail or Donkey's Tail). It was in a boot, & OMG! The room was roaring w/laughter & applause when the bidding got up to & finally ended at $105 for that silly & strange looking plant! LOL
I just looked & found a similar looking pic of it below. It was so hilarious! LOLOL

I want to thank each & every one of you here who contributed many really beautiful & awesome items for my bil's benefit. You have helped make it an extra special day for him & my sister & I don't know how in the world I'll ever be able to Thank You enough!!!
And please excuse me as I am kind of numb from exhaustion yet this morning & only on my 2nd cup of Half Caff coffee. LOL I imagine everyone else is in the same boat today, especially since we lost that precious hour of sleep, & we really needed it this morning. LOL
Give me a day or 2 & I should be a little more peppy again. LOL

I had one of those burrow tail plants, and if you have any of the little pieces left that fell off, just stick it in the dirt and it will make a new plant.
