Used by millions of home users around the world.

NEED to Run this Program on the Internet Explorer Browser ONLY

The Secunia PSI is a FREE security tool designed to detect vulnerable and out-dated programs and plug-ins which expose your PC to attacks. Attacks exploiting vulnerable programs and plug-ins are rarely blocked by traditional anti-virus and are therefore increasingly "popular" among criminals.

The only solution to block these kind of attacks is to apply security updates, commonly referred to as patches. Patches are offered free-of-charge by most software vendors, however, finding all these patches is a tedious and time consuming task. Secunia PSI automates this and alerts you when your programs and plug-ins require updating to stay secure.

Make sure you click on the RED Download Link - Which says DOWNLOAD NOW

I also use this Awesome Free Program. It keeps my computer updated on programs that need patches, etc. Also, will direct me to the sites that have the updated info on them, so all I have to do is click on it and follow the instructions from those sites which will patch my computer for the specific security issues. This program will run all the time on your computer in the lower tray bar, next to your other icons. What I do, to save on Memory, I only run it a couple of times per month to see if there are any issues, that need to be corrected. How do I stop this program not to run when I start my computer? Please go to the following link and follow the instructions. Windows - Disabling Startup Programs http://www.computertipsfree.com/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows-xp-and-vista/ Just find PSI in the checked box and uncheck it. Then click Apply and Reboot your computer. Once the computer reboots, there will be a alert panel that comes up telling you about it, just put a check mark in the box, telling them not to alert you again about it. If you do not put a check mark in the box, then this alert box will continue to appear every time you start up your computer.
