I have been trying to lose weight since September.......... but I just couldn't break my plateau...... 180............ I finally did it! 178.2 ! YAY! I am so happy! Now that the plateau is GONE I'm sure the remaining weight loss will be much easier! I did it! I finally did it! :)

We started our new eating habits about 4 weeks ago................ We took out all enriched flour products, all bleached products (just look at the ingredients), we also started eating items that have no more than 9grams of sugar per serving (OR if they have more than 9 per serving we cut the serving to where it would be less IE: if ice cream is 14g per 1/2 cup serving we can have 1/4 of a cup). We have also started eating 5 meals a day (small ones) and exercising a bit more (usually a walk with the dog and PJ) but nothing dramatic..... no biggest loser workouts or anything. LOL

We've been eating a lot more whole grain products and fruits and veggies as well. I have been trying to incorporate a fruit and or a veggie into lunch AND dinner instead of just dinner and I think that has helped too. We are also staying away from fast food! As well as fried foods. We do treat ourselves once a week if there's something we really want, like last Saturday we wanted buffalo wings..... so we got some. I normally would eat 10 and hubby would eat at least 15 so we would order 30 wings... this time we ordered 30 wings and had 13 left over so we are definitely seeing a change in what we actually eat before we start feeling full. I will tell you though................ there was a significant change in bowel movements and gassiness too! Lots of gas and Lots of pottying too! (sorry but I wasn't warned and wish I had been) LOL

So, at age 38 (me) and 44 (hubby) this is working for us. Perhaps it'll work for you too. GL :)
