hi all, have a weird (funny?) story about glade products. i got a clean linen soy candle in my monthly swaps last month (THANKS to my feb swaps partner!) and after i lit it the wick burned really fast and melted just a tiny bit of wax. the wick burned so quick that it reached the melted wax and ... you know what this is a long story. the short of it is ... the candle won't burn. i thought i'd write to glade and see if they could replace it. i got a confirmation reply that my email had been assigned to someone and the last sentence was this ... "If this is a medical emergency, please call 1-866-231-5406."
SERIOUSLY? if i was having some sort of glade / medical emergency would i have taken the time to email them THEN wait for the reply with a number to call THEN call an 866 number?!
for some reason this struck me as really funny.
i'm almost tempted to call the 866 number just to see if i get some sort of "glade 911" operator but i'm worried it may actually connect me to some 911 operator somewhere.
