Even the $1 anti acne works well from Dollar Gen store.

Your suggestion of persa gel and the like is the only thing that won't scar, but most people choose more invasive methods because they don't want to wait a month or more to see results, they want instant gratification. So if the person is already using the biore strips like she mentioned, I was just offering a cheaper alternative. No dermatologist would ever advocate anything other than persa gel and similar gels.
