As you approach age 65, does Medicare automatically send you sign-up information or do you have to let them know a few months before you're eligible?

Like Linda suggested, if you haven't heard from Medicare you might want to give them a call a few mos. beforehand & make sure you're registered.

I posted this question on another board and several people responded that they automatically received the enrollment information a few months before their 65th birthday, but I will stay on top of this to make sure I receive the information in time.
