My friend has her son getting stuff stuck up his nose quite often... literally one week he did it with 3 or 4 different objects. At first we thought it was funny but man, that is scary! I never tell the boys what he tried, don't want to give them any ideas :)

she tried to get it out on her own and couldn't so she thought best to take him to the urgent care here in twon They charged her $160 even before he was seen so she goes in and they take his temp and say the dr will be in while she was waiting it came out then the dr comes in with his tools and he wasn't needed so she told the girl at the desk she wanted a refund cause they didn't do anything and all they would give her back was the $75 for the actual removal fee since it came out on it's own what a crock $85 for checking his temp 14|8|That's crazy, although good thing it came out without any digging around :(|couponshelmd|couponshel@comcast.net|14:00:44|02/25/2011|

Now that she is five I think I can see the humor in this. One day, way back when she was 3, the G Monster and I were shopping and she noticed Tic Tacs. She'd had orange ones before and it must have been a weak moment on my part because I got them for her, but they only had mint ones which becomes important later on in this story. She asked me to open them as we were leaving the store. As I was getting her into her seat belt, I remember saying "Just don't put those in your nose".
I drove about a block and I hear her say "Ouch!" Me: "Did you put that in your nose?" Her: "No! Ouch!" I pull over and sure enough she has a minty tic tac up her nose! A parent faced with such a dilemma can head to a doctor or with a straw and a very strong stomach can fix things on their own. I won't name names, but I had already dealt with small things shoved up noses and knew what to do.
Now anyone with any common sense would ask why I didn't take the rest of the tic tacs away, right? What can I say to that? I deserved what happened next, I did! Compelled by whatever compels that kid to do all of the crazy things she does on a daily basis, she did it again! On the same day! Within the same fifteen minutes. After knowing it would hurt!
