I refinanced and the company that is holding the mortgage failed to paY MY TAXES. When I called them theysaid we paid this tax. When I told them there were 4 taxes that go with the property they got real snotty with me when I asked for a supervisor they sent me to voicemail. At least the title company agreed to pay one of the fees.

If so, fax those to the title company and to the county...if the escrow states taxes are paid by the mortgager, then the county has been sending the bills there....why on earth would you have to pay fees on late taxes? Your title insurance company has to warrant to the bank that they are paid in full at closing. If your mortgage company failed to pay and you paid them yourself, they should cut you a check from your escrow account.

If your title company goobered it up and only found a few of the taxes, then it is their fault. They should help you get this fixed. However, I would say that most mortgage companies make you fork out like $80 for a tax service fee - it would show up on your closing sheet. That is a crappy fee that you have to pay that deals with ensuring taxes are paid yearly. It is a third party that pays them each year on behalf of the bank.

booklet The problem is with PHH the company that bought my mortgage apparently they don't know how to read the H1 form all the info is thjere and the money is in my account. Guy from the title company gave me some good advice just need to straighten PHH out.
