stupid school........didnt cancel.......they picked up kids.....then decided they better call it off........called off at 9........i saw the bus didnt make its rounds till
after 10............. i didnt even take or send mine........wasnt about to take the chance..............

mail hasn't been delivered in a week, this is the 5th day of school being called off and since delivery trucks have had trouble on the roads the grocery stores are running out of food. Just hoping we don't lose power

'flurries'.. um..yeah..turned out to be MAJOR snowfall! Listened to local tv station and local radio station..both said just flurries. Was out of town and gal blew a stopsign..and speeded up actually..thought she could 'beat' me since she knew she couldn't stop she said. Luckily I was already going slow..was almost a white out..but no way could I stop in time and T-boned her. Snowed again here probably a inch today again. Temps dropping tonight back down into single digits or below zero and teens next few days. I too am sooo sick of winter. Hoping I have better luck ..no accident ..when I pick up the rental car tomorrow. My luck these days. Ugghh. At least I was the only one with any injuries..just possible stress fracture of right foot ..but will live. That gal is lucky she is alive..we all are for that matter. Be careful out there everyone! But what happened to you is my prime reason for not daring to go out much when the roads are iffy. If I could have the whole road to myself I'd be fine, but since I can't control how other people drive, I'm scared someone will either slide thru an intersection so I run into them or they'll run into me. :( It doesn't bother me to drive around in town tho since the speed limit is only 25 mph but out on the hwy. where people are zipping along at 55-60 mph is just too scary if someone should go into a slide at that rate of speed & shmuck me.
And I swear, the stuff they use in the pavement anymore seems to make the roads alot more slippery than they used to get. :(
Glad you're all ok & hope you don't have anymore trouble than w/your foot. :)
