pressure rise and they don't want that. Dr. said it was much worse then he had thought. Not sure yet how many by-passes he had. But they stitched the hole up in the heart, however there is still leakage. They hope it will heal itself. Days will tell. So he's not out of the woods yet. We just have to sit and wait now. Time will tell. Again thank you for the prayers. I really do believe prayers help so much.

I went up to see him again yesterday and to my surprise they moved him out of ICU into his own room. Seems he had 1 bypass, they have to wait and see what happens as he might end up needing another one. They disconnected all the tubes and he is eating on his own now. Had his first meal yesterday morning. He looks much better. His life is going to have to change for sure. He might have to go on disablility, not sure for how long, maybe months maybe for the rest of his life. Again, time will tell. I believe so much in prayers and I know all of your prayers helped him get through this.
Looks like they plan on keeping him for at least 10 more days. He got up and did a very short walk with us, (my sister was there too). Every now and then, please say a prayer for a speedy recovery and that his heart improves. Dr. said it was really bad. Only 1/2 of his heart is good.
Again thank you all for all your prayers. And I do pray for all those on this board who need prayers too. My prayers get longer every morning and evening with all those asking for prayers.
Thank you all for your concern. It was a rough week, with all the running from Buffalo to Rochester etc.
