just wanted to let everyone know that my sister n law sheila (justsheila) died today.
I'm overwhelmed with loss....i've been really upset since sunday because my dad is in the
hospital in WV, I've been trying to make plans to go to WV to be with him....
sheila has been having problems this last year with her liver, diabetes
and just recently she fell had a cracked rib, and 3 breaks in her pelvic area...we have been
visiting her every day, checking on her, taking her food, etc. last night we took her food, and
groceries since we were getting a snow storm today...I called off work, haley's school counselor
from school called me at 10:30 saying haley was very upset over her grandpap, i picked her up, as
soon as i got home..i got a call from the meals on wheels man (we just started this for sheila, yesterday
was her first delivery), the man said, he could see sheila on the floor but couldn't get to her, i had
the keys, i rushed there, we got in, 911, police, was all there, i called john her brother, he got there
about 15 minutes later...but i knew when i opened the door, i held her in my arms and begged her not to
go...but i knew...she was cold, she was turning blue..I knew in my heart when i opened the door...
i am just so sick...here i am planning on going to my dad, actually so much has happened this week,
I knew that Sheila was in a lot of pain from the fall...but I didn't think she was this bad.
We were just there last night...I even thought she looked better then she had been...
They think it was her heart. : ( Sheila was only 51....she would never hurt a fly...
she always cared for copper and bella...and really she was my only "friend" here, we did a lot together.
I am just so lost and confused and I just cant' understand it,

She was young. I remember her from over the years and I know she was a kind woman. How terribly sad!

Thank you so much for all the touching and meaningful words..they really mean so much to me...
I'm just in a state of shock...my heart feels so heavy...and my chest just hurts so much...I can't quit crying..I keep seeing images of finding sheila...
she was so cold..and i just kept screaming, and crying and begging her to come back..but i knew she was already gone...I've been so sick with it all...
I just found out that they have found a surgeon that will work on my dad....he can't be put asleep because he won't make it..but they think they can do a "partial" or I really can't think what it's called.. But they said he wouldn't live without this operation so they have to try it..it's kinda like building a bridge where his vertebra is totally gone..so in reality i should be on my way home.. BUT i'm hoping to get thru sheilas funeral and they are thinking they can't do dads surgery till monday...so i'm just hoping and praying that he holds on for all of us...I didn't want to tell him what was going on..but i called him last night in the hospital and just broke down telling him how much i love him and how much he has always meant to me...he asked my sister what was going on but she said, "she's just upset"...so i don't know whether to tell him or not..my husband john is so upset..sheila was his big sister..and she had her problems..but we never dreamnt, anything like this would happen...i'm just really devastated..my heart is broke...my faith is light..I just don't know. : ( johns family is on their way home, coming from texas, michigan, colorado, so most wont be here till tomorrow..then we will all go pick out the casket. : ( I appreciate your concern and your prayers..it really means alot. There isn't anything anyone can do..but your kind words, mean so much...and I can feel that the concern is true so thank you so much...

I just wish I had someone here for haley...she's 14...very mature..but I just feel like she's neglected with my depression, and all that's going on...i know how upset she is about my dad, her pappy...but we don't talk..i try to...and i just can't get the courage...she's such a good girl...and when i came home from sheilas yesterday..she was on the couch..i just hugged her and cried..and i told her...sheila died. and she was so sad...she kept saying, i'm sorry, mom..i'm sorry. And she went to her room. : ( I know i'm rambling...i'm sorry. I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words, the prayers, and the emails, asking
if I need anything...It really means so much to me to know that I really do have friends here that care. I've called sheilas house several times today
just to hear her answering machine...i had her cellphone with me on the bed, and my heart stopped when it rang... AND here it was john calling from his cellphone to hear her voice. : ( I want so bad to gripe about going to the store again...to get her this again and again, because she forgot everything she needed the first day...I want john to gripe about digging out her snow...I want her to call me again to ask me to get something at the store that we just left... I want to kiss her on the cheek before I leave and tell her I love her as I always did....I just want more chance....I want that more than anything..
Today John and I was talking...and he was thanking me for being so good to his sister, and how much he knew me and sheila loved each other like real sisters, and how I took her as she was...and all of this..I told him why would he thank me...when I was so thankful for her. AND then he looked at me, and he say's, I've been praying real hard for your dad, and I just want you to know that...your dad has one more angel looking down on him now, and she's talking to God about it all....and she's asking him to keep him safe.... We are all praying for him!! That means so much to me... I wish I could find words that would comfort you girlie. You are such a wonderful friend and it hurts me to see you in so much pain. I will be praying for everyone.
