hi all, have a little update on some ebay counterfeit purina coupons that i posted about a couple of weeks ago ...
first of all - i did get my money back. i emailed the seller and was, i think, nice but firm and said these are fake i need a refund right away. she did it and, of course, said she had gotten the coupons from someone else.
i contacted purina and they sent me some nice coupons (not free but higher value) and a sase to send the coupons to them to check out. got a response back from them today. the coupons were, of course, fake. they thanked me, sent some more higher value coupons and ... get this ... sent the counterfeit coupons back. guess i'll frame them

There's no way they can all be real. I was going through the coupons on Ebay the other day and someone was listing 2 of these and 2 of those and 2 of these, the list was so long... there is no way that person had so many free coupons from so many different companies! Like 15 different companies! I bet they just sit there listing them two at a time over and over again and no one even looks at their sales history!
It's pathetic!
Here's a prime example.... do we really think this person has had tons of coupons worth $52.99 each for free dog food? Unless this is his company that makes the dog food... I wouldn't be buying them!

7|3|I was scanning through this site, and found it interesting that all the fakes were even numbers like 4.00, 1.50, 5.00 etc... and most REAL manufacture coupons have 1.99, 1.29, 3.99 amount. was it moon something? I had ebay cancel a bunch that I bought and paid for. Of course they don't want to refund saying they all are real. Another one of them tried to sign onto one of my selling sites and I recognized the coupons since they were the ones I bought and they were the seller removed from ebay and I think I scared them off. I wanted all their info before I let them sell which I normally don't do unless I suspect someone and I haven't heard from them since. One was moon something and she was very nice about it and is still selling them today. Another one. There were three at one time that I bought from. Mike, the other half of wegogo, about crapped a brick when he saw I spent over 200 bucks on all those cat and dog food/litter coupons but thats the price of 4 big bags and I got maybe 15 or 20 coupons for big bags. So not bad enough he thinks I am nuts "buying" coupons then the emails start pouring in-one for every lot one after the other. They said don't pay if you haven't. Contact paypal if you did. We got some of them by that point and were waiting on the rest. They were nutro, science diet, pedigree, arm and hammer, eukanuba and some others. Glad was one. The sellers all but one wound up refunding easily but they all said they were real and they came from someone else. If they didn't refund paypal was going to without their consent. According to that coupon list it doesn't look like there are any real purina! I never saw anything about nutro though so maybe there are safe..... I threw the ones out like they said to but fear buying and using more. I just started bidding again. Hope we don't get anything bad. from the Humane Society we got a booklet with a bunch of free coupons and high dollar coupons. They were all only good at Petco though. It was awesome to get Yoshi all set up with everything he needed. The 1 and only time I bought a lot of free coupons off ebay they were all fake. I paid around $10 for 7 frees and every single one was photocopied. They all went in the trash and I did get my money back, thank goodness. It's so hard to know who is legit and who isn't so I just stick to getting them here and a couple other refunding sites. 12|4|I have seen and used ones with holograms. They looked real to me but so did most of the fakes! They were even the fancy paper and the colors. I sure hope I get good ones this time.
