Do you use a binder or other container? I once used a Rubbermaid container but now I am thinking about switching to a binder system. I was wondering what others used. Did you create your own binder system or purchase one? Thanks in advance for your help. Chasity

had a space near it's spine that I threaded a old pocketbook strap thru so I could carry it over my shoulder I miss that one sniff sniff My one I have now is one I got on clearence at wal mart I use baseball card sleeves to hold the coupons My binder also has a zippered section on the front of it to keep pens,scissors and tape in hth 2|1|I tried the binder... but didn't care for it for a couple of reasons....|jdlaurie|savethosepennies@aol.com|17:58:53|01/16/2011|
It was just too big and heavy. And I got funny looks when I had it with me and it was too big for the carts and stuff kept falling out of the pockets! So now I have two coupon envelopes with dividers that I use. They are plastic ones, so they don't rip in my purse. I have one with labeled tabs as follows:
Publix (this week)
Publix (Next week)
Walgreens (this week)
Walgreens (next week)
CVS 4XXX (this week)
CVS 8XXX (this week)
CVS 4XXX (next week)
CVS 8XXX (next week)
Walmart
Sweetbay
This gives me a place to put all the coupons I find for the current deals. If I print a coupon for a deal that's next week, I also have a place for it so it doesn't get lost.
The second envelope has the usual:
Dairy
HBA
Paper and Plastic
etc.
etc.
etc.
This is the one that stays in the bottom of my purse just in case I find a unadvertised deal somewhere. It's in my purse where I need it and holds any high value coupons I might need.
I keep any other coupons I have at home... because they likely won't need to be used unless a new sale comes up.
I find this is the best way for me. You have to go with what works for you.

I love it. I have it sectioned by products like baby, beverages, baking, produce, etc. I use the baseball card pages and to make use of more space I put a piece of cardstock in each divider (the 9 different windows of the baseball page) so that I can use both sides of it.
I have extra wide dividers that I put between each section so that I can just flip to that section in the store.
I keep telling myself to go with something different that will just stay in my purse but I think my purse would get too heavy. I get funny looks too when I carry my binder in. I once had a cashier at CVS ask me if I needed to sign in. I asked why and he said aren't you a vendor. I said no, these are my coupons. He just looked at me, smiled, and said oh, ok. 7|3|I just switched to binder with photo pages and baseball card and business card pages from two 12 pocket wide plastic coupon envelopes. Had I read about the cd idea would have done that instead. I organize alphabetically. Its quicker. I don't have to think the name, what it is and catagory. If its bisquick I go to b.
