Okay, so most people will figure out what that number is and then use their cursor to find the item on the chart. They stop on the number and then click "next" and the program spits out what that last item looked at was.

This is a variation on an old trick. Whatever number you pick always ends up becoming a multiple of nine after you go through all their instructions. If you look at all the other gifts on the multiples of nine, they will all be the same. Every time you play though they change the gift that is sitting on the multiples of nine....so it seems like you're getting a different gift each time.
