Cheyenne went to her dental appt. today, first of all, she has too many teeth (like my son Matthew) and so they are gonna have to extract a couple of them. Plus she has two small cavaties, so they are gonna fill those on two different days, and she will have to see an orthodontist for braces. She gets really nervous when she goes to the dentist or doctor, but she did really well today. Anyways just had to share what's going on around here. We are suppose to get some snow tonight and tommorrow, I hope we only get a little, cause we've got upcoming dr. appts and other things going on. Hugs, Rebekka

the boys had 2 hours of skool this morning and came home
by the time they got home the roads where white glad they made it home OK

kevin had 4 teeth with cavities and his old dentist put some medicine on the tooth then put the filling in well on all 4 teeth that had the medicine in them the meds caused the roots to dissolve
he is now at a different dentist and i am NO where near happy with what has happened
so now he has 4 gaping holes and spacers
and they are teeth that are not to come out or in till he is 11ish
well one tooth is already coming in and not enuff room to come thru
i am at my wits end with his teeth and the poor feller says he hates his teeth
the dentist told me that we would get him straightened out not to worry about it all
it just nerves me
someone told me to sue the dentist that did all this to kevin
but i know her circumstances
she has a hubby with stomach cancer and 2 small kids
and works at 2 different dental offices now
but me and her will have a chat and i will take the pics in from the new dentist when i can get there
sorry had to vent a little just peevveess me off

I'm sorry your son has gone through so much with his teeth, poor little guy. I hope that this new dentist can fix the damage and make him feel comfortable again. Hugs, Rebekka

I wouldn't want to be her! My kids both had a mouthful of cavities and they gave them some kind of gas that makes them loopy and did them all at the same time! They had them in between all their teeth (because of Gatorade they said). This last time, the kids didn't have any cavities... my guess is you can't get cavities on fillings! So I'm set for a while! is that I have removed Gatorade from the house... for a while I removed Soda... but my husband fights me on this one! Trying to get the kids to drink more water or milk. They hate juice -- but the dentist said it's just as bad.
I have teeth more like your sons it would appear. I do get cavities under the fillings... I was really just joking about the fillings not getting cavities. There isn't much inbetween the fillings in my kids mouths!
