I remember in AZ gas in 2008 was $3.58 a gal, it was terrible, it ate up our budget cause we had to go back and forth to chemo (40 miles one way) for Will...|RebekkaVA|queen_vulture@msn.com|16:13:27|01/07/2011|

I just bought them by the 5 dozen pack for $7 and change. Milk is $1.99 gallon at Winco (same as Costco's price last time I was there). Gas was $3.19 regular last time I got that.

Makes me very grateful for deals and coupons or we would be in a world of hurt. 12|5|eggs|joseph|parkerjoe3@yahoo.com|19:38:34|01/07/2011|

19|2|THIS is exactly why I was against min-wage going up................|pussecat|pu55ecat@aol.com|09:29:04|01/08/2011|

Posted on Jan-08-11 at 09:29 AM (Eastern) by 99.174.108.226

This is nothing new. It happens everytime min-wage goes up. People don't stop and think before they rally for these type of things........ if min-wage goes up EVERYTHING goes up! And what's REALLY sad about it is the fact that min-wage goes up 10% however the cost of living rises by 12% or MORE (just in the 1st year). I don't know who does the checks and balances at the white house, but the last time I checked this is not "balanced" math.

I hate the taste of milk......but buy it because my kids like it.....and even they are super picky and will only drink Hood....here it is $4.69/ a gallon for 2% milk. 25|4|And I might add....that the cost might be rising....but the amount going to dairy farmers is decreasing significantly...|kellysp6637|frugalk76@aol.com|10:35:47|01/08/2011|

so much so, that what's left of the meager amount of dairy farmers in my area has dwindled to a handful.....the dairy farmers just can't afford to remain in business........they are losing so much money....I actually feel bad for them. 26|5|They said gas will be $5.00 by spring|STEVE|STEVBOLT@WMIS.NET|20:18:29|01/08/2011|
