Hubby gets sick and I keep telling him to go to the doctor before the end of the year. He went before xmas but it's been getting worse... I kept telling him the antiobiotic isn't working.... so he doesn't go.... then today he's so sick he had to go and it has now cost me over $200 because I have deductables to meet now! If he had gone by the 31st it would have only cost me about $75 - $80! I wish he realized how hard it is to save an extra $120 plus dollars! I'm about to hand him a stack of inserts and a scissor and tell him to start cutting while his rump is sitting on the couch watching TV! You know I don't get to stop saving money while I'm sick! I'm on this computer every night and even at lunch time looking for deals, coupons, etc. I check the boards, all the blogs, etc. I hit the grocery store several times a week, I read all the ads in the paper, I do my CVS deals, etc. It take so much time.
So frustrating!
On the other hand, I do have my daughter here and she is 6 and she's always trying to tell me about coupons out there! We were getting ready to go to JC Penneys because she had a gift card to spend and she said that she saw either JCPenneys or Michaels coupons on line and I should check them out before we go! At 6 years old... she gets it much better than the guy paying the bills and complaining we don't have enough!
Sorry... just had to vent!

seen the look on her face when she saw that the bright pink blanket she saw at JC Penneys for $13.99 before xmas had dropped to $6.97! It's a pink cotton full size blanket, regular price $34.99. She had to have it! She spent part of her $15 gift card on it. I was so tempted to buy the king size one for $9.99, but I'm not sure hubby would enjoy such a bright colored blanket
Then the other day she was looking at rugs for her room (yes, she's decorating her own room with her xmas gift cards). She saw one for $49.99 and told me that was just way too much money.... then she saw some others for $19.99 and knew they were a great deal. She had to buy one, it's the cutest chenille multicolored rug! So she used part of a $50 target card from her aunt.
Just to show you there's still some kid in her... she also spent $19.99 on a Hello Kitty Pink Water Cooler for her room! She said it's so she doesn't have to get out of bed at night to get another drink LOL.... I told my husband all she needs is a fridge and a microwave in that room and we'll never see her again!
I have the only daughter who buys things for her room instead of toys!
