Sorry but this post really irked me. He's not that old and if you are struggling to just hold a bottle for an infant the real work of parenting hasn't hardly even begun yet. This is the time you are supposed to be enjoying and savoring. It all goes so fast. He doesn't even know he has fingers and toes yet and you are wishing him to hold his own bottle. I'm baffled by your question as it seems you can't wait for him to reach milestones.

You have many years of experience as a Mom & she is a first time Mom. I took her question the same as the other ladies took it. From what I have read in the past, this is Robin's place to come for support & have questions answered about things. Do YOU not remember how overwhelming it felt to be a FIRST time Mom?? I know that I remember it all too well & wished that I had someone to ask all kind of questions to about things.
And to Robin, if I remember correctly, my sons were around 6 months of age before they held their bottle on their own.
